What makes your heavy duty kennels last longer?
Our kennel have a galvanized coating of 5 mills thick or more which will extend the life expectancy to 100 plus years according to the American. Other commercial grade kennels will claim to be galvanized after welding, but close inspection will reveal that the welded joints have just been hand painted with galvanized paint.
What is the frame of the commercial grade dog kennels made of?
Each Pro-Series heavy duty kennel panel utilizes 1 ¼” square tubing frame with welded mitered corners for superior strength and appearance. The top mitered corner design also eliminates all dirt and debris from entering the top of the frame and corroding it from the inside out. Most of the other major commercial brand kennels have frames that are wide open on top. Using square tube kennel frames provides a more positive means to secure two panels together.How did TK Products get started?
The reason for starting TK Products was seeing the need for a quality, high end product at a competitive price. Over the years of field training and raising English Setters. We have used several of the current brand kennels and none of them could hold up to normal use in my kennel for more than a few years before they rusted out and just fell apart. When we contacted the suppliers of these brands they just told me that what we were seeing was a normal life expectancy for their products and to just replace them with new kennel panels, wrong answer. Our goal is to create products that are designed to use and built to last.
What is the handle made of?
Each Pro-Series heavy duty kennel door utilizes a solid stainless steel lockable handle assembly which also includes an internal stainless steel spring that helps hold the latch closed to prevent your dog from opening the door. This makes for a safe and secure kennel and still allows for a convenient one hand door opening. The handle is also designed to except a pad lock or clasp for a more secure application.How do I install the dog kennel handle?

These commercial grade kennels were not hot dipped galvanized after welding and assembly, and as you can see they rusted from the inside as well as the outside. Both of these kennels are only three years old!
